Maria's Story
Maria Barletta is an artist who believes in the quiet magic of resilience, wonder, and the beauty that blooms when we finally take time for ourselves. After raising a family and lovingly caring for her aging parents—including her mother with Alzheimer’s and her father with health challenges—Maria followed a long-held dream and enrolled in the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program at the age of 60.
Art has always been part of Maria’s life. For 14 years, she was known for her enchanting, lifelike fairy sculptures that found homes across the world. Now, she paints with the same sense of wonder, crafting serene, light-filled works that offer a moment of peace in a busy world.
Maria’s work is rooted in hope, simplicity, and love—the same values she shares with her two cherished grandchildren. Every brushstroke reflects her deep belief that it’s never too late to return to yourself and create something beautiful.
